Enhancing the Implementation of Green Public Procurement in Serbia
Project Objective:
The GREEN-PROC SRB Initiative: “Enhancing the Implementation of Green Public Procurement in Serbia” is being implemented as a multi-sectoral cooperation project within the framework of the project “Together for an Active Civil Society – ACT”.
The general objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of the implementation and promotion of green public procurement (GPP) in Serbia by strengthening the capacities of local governments (contracting authorities), with professional expertise provided by ALHem and support from the network of the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SKGO).
The initiative will assess challenges and current practices at the local level in implementing GPP in Serbia and provide recommendations to strengthen the practical application of green criteria in public procurement procedures.
Implementation Period: April 2026 – January 2027
